SHC Conditions of Warranty: Please read carefully

SHC Wheels warrants to the original owner a lifetime structural warranty on all wheels sold by SHC or its distributors.

Warranty is only available to the original owner; transfer of ownership renders all warranties void.

All warranty returns must be accompanied by the original bill of sale, no exceptions.

SHC agrees to repair or replace at SHC’ sole discretion any wheel which is found to have defects in material and/or workmanship.

All products subject to a warranty claim will be inspected by SHC. If the product is found to have failed under normal use due to defects in material and/or workmanship the product will be replaced in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.

SHC is at all times bound by the manufacturers warranty and at all times the final decision regarding a warranty claim will be made by the manufacturer of the product.

SHC will not be liable for any loss or damage; be it incidental or consequential or of any kind that arises from claims of warranty, contract or negligence in connection with the sale, use or repair of any product.

SHC assumes no liability in the event a wheel has been discontinued or is no longer available.

SHC’ maximum liability shall not in any case exceed the contract sale price of the products being claimed to be defective or unsuitable.

In all warranty claims the Buyer is responsible for and must prepay all shipping charges.

All warranty claims are to be shipped prepaid to:

Exclusions from warranty:

Warranty does not apply to any items which have been misused, neglected or damaged in an accident.

Warranty does not apply to any product that has been altered or repaired by any unauthorized persons other than an approved SHC repair facility.

Important information regarding chrome wheels:

After an aluminum wheel is cast, it is partially polished (face and lip area). It is then submitted to a process of electroplating which will turn it into a finished chromed part.

Every effort is made by the manufacturer to ensure that the overall quality on chrome wheel finishes fall within a certain guideline. All of our manufacturers produce wheels that are considered within the “custom wheel industry” to be of good commercial quality. (Most our manufacturers are exceptional)

What this means to you is that all of our wheels fall within industry standards and are not expected by any means to be 100% cosmetically flawless. "Show Quality" chrome wheels are rarely available from any manufacturer and if so would cost sometimes two to three times more than "commercial quality" parts to produce.

Some minor pits, small chrome burns, chips, scratch marks underneath the chrome or polishing lines are likely to occur in some of the wheels and are not considered blemishes and therefore not entitled for return, exchange or refund.

A defective chrome finish would be something that presents peeling, rust, blistering or bubbling on the polished areas of the wheels (i.e. face, lip, spokes ... not on the area where the tire seats or any backside of the wheel...).

Chrome finish on SHC Wheels is warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.

The impact of chrome wheels by things like curbs and potholes can cause the chrome to start peeling from the wheel surfaces. If it is deemed that this is the cause of the chrome failure and there are no defects in the material or workmanship the wheels will not be covered under warranty.

Important information regarding Painted Wheels:

The paint finish in most aftermarket wheels is of good commercial quality. While technically correct, some imperfections may show on the surface of the wheels and are not considered blemishes. A defective paint finish would be considered a part in which some face, spokes or lip areas are not covered by the paint. Uneven surfaces are not considered blemishes when they are protected / covered by the paint coating.
